1st East Cowes (St. James) Lord Gort’s Own Sea Scout Group
The Group is a registered charity and was formed in December 1927. Since that time it has helped many of the town’s young adults to achieve their full potential.
Scouting develops skills including teamwork, time management, leadership, initiative, planning, communication, self-motivation, collective awareness and commitment.
We help young people enjoy new adventures; to experience the outdoors; interact with others, gain confidence and have the opportunity to reach their full potential. Working alongside our youth members are our adult volunteers.
